737 takeoff speed calculator for flight sims

Enter your airport, runway, weight and weather and get V1, VR, V2, stabilizer trim and a flex temperature, the way a 737 crew would read them off the FMC.

Open the takeoff calculatorUse the 737 FMC

What you need to enter

What you get

V1 (decision speed), VR (rotation), V2 (takeoff safety speed), the stabilizer trim for your centre of gravity, a flex (assumed) temperature when the runway is long enough for reduced thrust, and the heaviest weight the runway allows. Example for a 737-800 at 156,780 lb, flaps 5, 15 °C from UDYZ runway 08: V1 140, VR 144, V2 150 knots.

Match it to your sim

Every simulated 737 has its own flight model. If your sim shows a different V2 for the same weight and flaps, enter it in Match my sim and the calculator tunes itself so its numbers agree with yours from then on.

See it on the runway

The runway visualizer animates the takeoff on the real runway and shows where V1, VR and lift-off happen, how much runway remains, and what happens if you reject at V1 or lose an engine.

Questions

Which 737 models does it cover?

The preset is a 737-800. The 737-700 behaves similarly but with a smaller airframe, so use Match my sim or the custom aircraft option to tune it.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no sign-up, and your inputs stay on your device.

Will the numbers match PMDG, Zibo or other add-ons?

They are close for typical weights but not identical, because each add-on has its own flight model. Use Match my sim to calibrate.
